Eastern Health is asking those who have requested an appointment for a COVID-19 swab prior to February 15, and have not yet received an appointment, to again complete the online self-assessment or call 811 to request a swab.
Around 1,500 people were unable to be reached because either an incorrect phone number was provided or booking clerks have tried several times but have not been able to reach these individuals.
Those who complete that process again will receive a call from Eastern Health with an appointment in approximately 24 hours.
Eastern Health is apologizing for any inconvenience but says it is important that those who requested a test receive one to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and contact tracing can take place.
