We are looking for a reliable and friendly Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this casual, unionized position, you will help ensure our hotel remains in excellent condition for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preventive maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment.
- Repair minor issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance.
- Help maintain the overall upkeep of the hotel, including guest areas and back-of-house.
- Perform lawn maintenance and landscaping tasks as needed.
- Manage pool maintenance to keep it clean and safe for guests.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and maintenance concerns with a positive attitude.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Utilize basic computer skills for tracking maintenance requests and updates.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must dress professionally and represent the hotel positively.
