Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a solid understanding of bartending practices. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Stay informed about drink specials, menu changes, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or related hospitality roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
