We are seeking a reliable and friendly Airport Shuttle Driver/Houseperson to join our team! In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of common areas in the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Shuttle Driver:
- Safely transport guests to and from the airport and other designated locations.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized shuttle vehicle.
- Assist guests with luggage and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
- Maintain knowledge of local routes, including St. John’s Airport.
Houseperson:
- Keep common areas, lobbies, and restrooms clean and presentable at all times.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining the cleanliness of event spaces.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving record (at least 1 year of driving experience required).
- Class 4 driver’s license preferred.
- Background check is required.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of St. John’s Airport is helpful but not required.
