*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to oversee and lead our housekeeping team in maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and custodial services.
*Duties*
- Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
- Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
- Stock linen closet and supplies area
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators
- Disinfect operating rooms and other hospital areas
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
- Report and store lost and found items
- May provide basic information on facilities
- May handle complaints.
- Manage and supervise housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness meets company standards
- Coordinate with other departments to address guest needs and requests promptly
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
*Experience*
- Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or similar setting
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and techniques
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
