Front desk/ Night Audit

The front desk /night auditor agent is a key part of the overall success of our business, they represent the first and last point of contact with guests and handle all stages of a guest’s stay. It is very important that the individual possesses a strong outgoing personality, with an ability to pay close attention to details. The successful candidate should be able to work well with others, while demonstrating an ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly manner and follow check in procedures

Take payments and post accurately to guest accounts

Follow set polices regarding cash handling

General clerical duties

Ensure all credit cards, cash, and change fund are balanced throughout each shift

Reconcile daily cash outs and produce daily cash out report

Run and Distribute Daily reports for management team

Communicate with other departments in a friendly and professional manner

Handle guest communications in a discreet fashion

Balancing and consolidating departmental ledger accounts, preparation of various hotel operating reports.

Other duties as required

Qualifications

Previous Audit experience preferred but not required

Must be available for overnights

Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required

Strong communication skills , attention to detail
Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, email and other computer programs

Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment

Demonstrated strong customer service skills, problem solving

Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings , and holiday

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
