This position consists of Early Mornings, Days / weekends / holidays & will involve serving in our Club Lounge as well as the main restaurant.

  • Selling and serving of food and beverage to guests;
  • Accountable for balancing daily sales and complying with established cash handling procedures;
  • Ensuring stock is adequately maintained (linen, cutlery, etc.)
  • To maintain sanitation and hotel standards in outlet;
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum of Grade XII or equivalent required;
  • Previous experience in similar environment required;
  • Responsible Alcohol Service Course required
  • Knowledge of all types of beer, liquor and wines required;
  • Knowledge of Delta Service Standards as they relate to the Restaurant an asset;
  • Basic accounting and computer skills required;
  • Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with ease;
  • Must possess strong up selling and suggestive selling skills;
  • Must be detail orientated;
  • Knowledge of Micros Point of Sale an asset
  • Heavy lifting & moving of food trays, tables, chairs required.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, outgoing personality a definite must;
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication/telephone skills required;
  • Must be a responsible, organized individual who can work with minimum supervision;
  • Must be honest, reliable and dependable;
  • Must be in good health and practice good hygiene;
  • Must be accustomed to walking and standing for extended periods;
  • Must demonstrate behaviour consistent with core values;
  • Must be a team orientated individual with good interactive skills.
