St. John's Hop On Hop Off
Description
The St. John’s Hop On Hop Off Tour Bus is looking forward to another wonderful year! The St. John’s Hop On Hop Off bus is a touring service that provides tourists and locals the ability to view the great city of St. John's. This seasonal service operates 7 days per week from late-June to September.
Responsibilities
- Greeting passengers as they enter the shuttle
- Helping passengers board and disembark the shuttle safely
- Provide information about the city to the passengers along the Tour
- Entertaining the passengers and keeping them engaged along the Tour
- Coordinate with Manager when issues arise
- Following the route efficiently to maintain shuttle schedule
- Maintain a sense of urgency during peak operating hours
Qualifications
- Must have Class 4 driver’s license and clean driving record from the DMV
- Prior experience in tourism or knowledge of St. John’s routes would be an asset
- Punctual with a professional attitude and appearance
- Prior experience driving a 24-passenger bus would be an asset
- Positive communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Access to a smart phone for communication and scheduling purposes
- Class 2 driver's license would be an added benefit (not required)
Compensation
$18/hour + tips
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 10-35 per week
Salary: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
