The research gathered on resident travel shows that visitors are looking for hidden gems, opportunities to spend time with family and friends, and culinary experiences. Tourism operators Chris Sheppard of Roots Rants & Roars, Duane Collins of Hare Bay Adventures, Autumn Gale of Hew and Draw, and Angela Gilley of The Florian Hotel will present their experiences with product development during a pandemic, how they adapted, what they learned and how they plan to move forward. This will provide participants with a deeper understanding of innovative tourism opportunities in the province and encourage them to think about potential opportunities and partnerships in their own area.
