Assistant Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:Openingandclosingtherestaurant.Appointing,inducting,andmentoringnewstaffmembers.Schedulingshiftsandassigningtablestowaitstaff.Resolvingcustomers'questionsandgrievancesinaprofessionalmanner.Conductingpayrollactivitiesinanaccurate,timelymanner.Ensuringthattherestaurantadherestopertinenthealthandsafetyregulations.Ensuringparlevelsforinventoryaresetup,rotatingstockasfirstinfirstout.Managingerrors&spillagelists.Recordingallincomeandexpensesandensuringthatcashregistersarebalanced.Ensuresstaffaredoingtheiropening,shift&closingdutiesMaintainsStafffileswithregardstoperformanceMeetingandgreetingcustomersinatimelymannerKnowledgeispowersounderstandingandknowingeverythingweofferisvitallyimportantMentoringandtrainingstaff,ensuringthebestcustomerserviceexperienceAnyotherdutiesassignedbytheGMorowners.
AssistantRestaurantManagerRequirements:Highschooldiploma,GED,orequivalent.Previoussupervisoryexperience,preferablywithinarestaurant.Priorexperienceusingposandcreditcardmachines.Intermediateaccountingandarithmeticskills.Strongleadershipskillswithanaffinityforcapacitydevelopment.Excellentconflictresolutionabilities.Innovative,trustworthy,andimpartial.Abilitytoworkevenings,weekends,andholidays.Abilitytostaycalminafacepacedenvironment.
