Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the food and beverage operations, including staffing, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Supervise and train staff in food preparation techniques, customer service practices, and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Assist with developing menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences and dietary needs.
- Oversee the operation of Point of Sale (POS) systems to ensure accurate billing and reporting.
- Conduct interviews and hire new team members while fostering a positive work environment that encourages staff development.
- Monitor guest feedback to enhance service quality and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other staff to ensure seamless operations during events or peak service periods.
- Minimum 2-years experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality management would be considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and cash handling processes.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
