Full job description
Taproom Assistant General Manager
Location: St. John’s, NL
Department: Taproom
Reports to: Taproom General Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In person
Our Commitment to You
This is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to grow with a brewery that is deeply invested in its people.
- Direct access to our leadership team. Your voice matters here.
- Real influence. You can help shape the brand in real time. We’re a family-owned business, not a corporate international chain.
- Professional growth. Develop and expand your skill set with the largest craft brewery in Newfoundland and Labrador.
- A role built for impact. This is a brand-new position and is critical to our growth as we take the Quidi Vidi Brewery taproom to the next level.
We are looking for the right fit — someone hardworking, committed, and passionate about hospitality. This is an extremely busy and demanding role at the busiest taproom in Atlantic Canada. We need someone who truly cares about their team, leads by example, and shows up every day ready to make things better.
We’re proud to be Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest craft brewery. We’ve been brewing Newfoundland’s beer for 30 years, long before “craft beer” was a buzzword. From day one, we’ve led the way by experimenting, pushing boundaries, and taking inspiration from the place, we call home. Rooted in community, our success has always come from connection - through the festivals, events, and local groups that make this province what it is.
Now we’re looking for someone to continue strengthening those connections, by amplifying our community presence, showcasing our proud Newfoundland brand, and creating memorable experiences along the way.
