PAL Airlines is looking for flight attendants with a passion for safety and customer service to join its award-winning teams in Halifax, Montreal and St. John's.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement all Transport Canada policies and procedures to ensure compliance with PAL Airlines and air operator standards.
  • Demonstrate and explain emergency protocols to ensure passenger safety during flights.
  • Communicate important flight information and updates to all passengers and crew.
  • To provide superior customer service at all stages of the travel experience.
  • Assist in resolving unexpected operational issues and passenger concerns.
  • Work successfully both independently and as part of a team to meet operational needs.
  • Represent PAL Airlines with professionalism and respect to all travelers.
  • Provide first aid and medical assistance as needed.

Our flight attendants also receive:

Skills:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age to comply with Canadian liquor legislation.
  • Must be able to travel to the United States without restrictions and hold a valid passport (or permanent residency card along with the necessary visas to work wherever PAL Airlines operates).
  • Must be able to maintain an identification card for restricted areas of the airport (requires a 5-year traceable history, a clean criminal record, and a Canadian citizenship or permanent resident card)
  • The ability to speak French and English.
  • Have completed the Flight Attendant Academy training program or In-flight Institute online training program – CT201 prior to commencing employment.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with customer service experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management and customer service skills.
  • Criminal record check prior to hiring.
  • Availability to travel away from home for extended periods of time.
  • Must successfully complete an initial five-week full-time training program

Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuating shift hours due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
