Digital Health Administration (DHA) Instructor
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract – Multiple Terms (with possible extension)
Start Dates: November 2025
About the Program
The Digital Health Administration (DHA) Program prepares students with the specialized knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in today’s healthcare environments. The curriculum emphasizes medical terminology, healthcare systems, and applied knowledge of anatomy and physiology, equipping learners with the tools to support digital health initiatives and administrative roles in the medical field.
We are seeking an instructor with a strong background in medical sciences and a passion for teaching to deliver courses across the DHA program, including:
- Medical I (November – February)
- Medical II (March – June)
Additionally, if available, the successful candidate may also teach in our Pharmacy Technician Program:
- Anatomy & Physiology (January – April)
What You’ll Do
As a DHA Instructor, you will:
- Deliver engaging instruction.
- Support interdisciplinary learning through case studies, applied projects, and digital health simulations.
- Provide timely feedback, academic advising, and mentorship to students.
- Facilitate connections between theory and practice, preparing learners for healthcare administration and pharmacy support careers.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
- Contribute innovative ideas to strengthen curriculum delivery and student engagement.
What You Bring
- A health-related credential or background, such as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), Registered Nurse (RN), or equivalent healthcare training and experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience – 6 years.
- Teaching certification or experience in post-secondary, secondary, or adult education (asset).
- Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Experience with online learning platforms and digital instructional tools.
- Passion for supporting students in healthcare-focused programs.
- Background in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and healthcare systems.
- Experience with digital health practices or healthcare administration (asset).
