THE FORAGER is seeking a Chef de Partie / Line Cook to join our growing culinary team at Cliffs Edge Retreat, one of Newfoundland and Labrador's most unique coastal destinations.

Located on the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve and the East Coast Trail, THE FORAGER celebrates Newfoundland through exceptional cuisine inspired by the sea, the forest, and the farm. Our team works with fresh local seafood, premium ingredients, and wild foraged products sourced from across the province.

This is an opportunity to work in a beautiful coastal setting while remaining within easy commuting distance of St. John's.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing and executing menu items to a high standard
  • Working closely with the Chef and Sous Chef during service
  • Assisting with daily preparation and station organization
  • Maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • Following food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Contributing ideas and creativity to menu development
  • Helping deliver exceptional guest experiences

  • Previous restaurant or culinary experience
  • Passion for food and hospitality
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Reliable and professional attitude
  • Culinary training is an asset but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
