Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Prior custodial experience, especially in a hotel setting, is highly valued but not essential as training is provided. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and reliability are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of hotel rooms, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas according to established standards
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and maintained in good condition
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleanliness standards and confidentiality
Requirements
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning duties and lift light loads as needed
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work within safety guidelines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
