Event Description:
This day and a half program will cover the foundations of experience design and building and selling the experiential packages from design to implementation and distribution. The logistics portion of the program will have an enhanced pricing component to look at pricing your experiential packages and overall pricing strategy for your business.

Day 1:
Foundations of Creating Experiential Tourism Packages

Day 2:
Pricing & Logistics
1. Partnering ? building experiences together ? what you need to consider
2. Understanding the logistics and operations of successful experiential tourism products
    a. Steps in experience design ? flow
    b. Operational plan
    c. Licenses and legislation
    d. Risk
    e. Contracts and agreements
3. Revenue Management Overview
    a. The foundations of revenue management
    b. Value and price setting
    c. Forecasting and Managing demand
    d. Leveraging opportunities
    e. Price fences
    f. Implementing a revenue management strategy for smaller businesses
    g. Positioning pricing and flex pricing
4. Pricing - understanding pricing for various channels ? will include brief overview of travel trade
5. Marketing and distribution options
6. Action planning for success ? from concept to delivery

Meet Your Facilitator


This workshop will be lead by Lucy Dias. Lucy is a facilitator and course developer at STEM Consulting & Marketing Inc. Lucy?s key areas of focus are customized learning and development programs for the hospitality and tourism industries to help improve overall communication effectiveness, business top lines and bottom lines. Her professional career spans more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience including Director of Sales Training and Development and National Sales for Delta Hotels and Resorts and Global Sales for Starwood Hotels. During this time, she developed a reputation as a leader in motivating and leveraging talent to drive improved business performance with excellence.
