Tourism Connect NL is coming to Rocky Harbour, bringing together tourism operators and partners from Gros Morne region. This full-day regional industry event connects tourism operators, community leaders, industry partners and business-support organizations for practical learning, meaningful conversation and direct access to resources.
Under the theme “Connecting People, Places and Product,” the day will explore the issues and opportunities shaping tourism businesses across Newfoundland and Labrador. Participants will hear regional perspectives, strengthen their workforce practices, explore useful digital tools and responsible AI, and connect with programs, funding partners and industry supports.
The program is expected to include:
• A regional industry conversation reflecting on the tourism season and emerging opportunities
• Finding and Keeping People, a practical workforce workshop
• Digital Tools and Responsible AI, with realistic applications for tourism businesses
• A luncheon highlighting local food, Seasoned NL and Exceptional Experiences
• A regional roundtable focused on local priorities, challenges and next steps
• The Connection Hub, providing direct access to Hospitality NL and participating industry partners
