Event Description:
Do you have trouble recruiting and retaining qualified tourism employees? Get a jump start on the 2018 busy season at this year's inclusive Tourism Job Fair! Join Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador and our partners for a day of networking with qualified potential employees, as well as an opportunity to learn recruitment and retention strategies.

8:30am-10:00am - Employers Breakfast with Guest Speaker
10:00am-4:00pm - Job Fair Session
4:00pm-4:30pm - Booth Dismantle

Jamie Burton of Dolphin Digital TechnologiesBreakfast Guest Speaker: Jamie Burton is Vice President of Dolphin Digital Technologies, the first business in Canada to develop and implement a barrier free hiring strategy for people with disabilities. Jamie has utilized her skills to establish a sound mentoring model which has now been shared as a responsible, sustainable and economic best practice. She has represented Canada on global stages, speaking on the business advantage of hiring people with disabilities, as well as strategic technical innovation. Jamie has helped government and businesses develop employment strategy, policy, best practices, and is currently a member of the Employment Standards Development Committee.

Registration Fee includes the following:

  • 8 x 10 draped booth area (Due to space limitations, a maximum of two representatives is recommended)
  • A skirted table with two chairs
  • Wireless Internet access
  • Online Employer Guidebook submission
  • Breakfast (max. two representatives)
  • Lunch and refreshments (max. two representatives)
  • One electrical outlet per booth
