Event Description:
Hospitality NL and CLIMAtlantic are excited to present the second session in our series of webinars aimed at helping tourism operators navigate the growing impacts of climate change on our province and industry. These sessions will explore how climate shifts may affect your operations, highlight potential opportunities, and provide practical guidance for adapting to the changing climate.
Items to be covered in this session include:
  • Quick NL climate change overview
  • Climate change impacts to marine tourism
  • Climate change impacts to winter tourism
  • Climate change impacts to outfitting tourism
  • Case Studies and Recommendations for the Sector.
Our goal is not only to raise awareness but to turn this knowledge into action. After this webinar, we plan to expand into targeted sessions and potentially in-person workshops for specific subsectors identified depending on interest. These future events will dive deeper into the climate vulnerabilities each group faces, actions to minimize risks, and strategies to pivot and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Your input is critical to shaping the next steps! By attending this initial webinar, you'll have a chance to engage with us early on and express your needs. Together, we can ensure tourism operators have the resources and support to thrive in a changing climate.
