Located on an island off the south coast of Labrador, Battle Harbour is fast becoming a bucket list destination for travelers. We provide accommodations, meals, tours, entertainment, and deeply authentic experiences to our guests.

We are looking for a hard working, friendly, team player with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of all staff, which you will be a key player.
As a first point of contact for people visiting Battle Harbour, this is an essential position in the visitor journey. Clearly communicating the Battle Harbour experience in a friendly manner is essential for business success.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Selling Battle Harbour products and services.
Ordering supplies as necessary.
Daily cash transactions and reconciliations.
Receipt of goods destined for use within the General Store Building.
Registrations of overnight accommodation guests. Giving the welcoming message to guests arriving in Battle Harbour.
Mopping and cleaning the Shop daily.
Assisting housekeeping and kitchen staff when needed.
If you are looking for a long-term career we have opportunities after your first season, based on performance. Pay will be discussed upon application. In addition to hourly wages, the position also includes a share of gratuities at the end of the season. Shift is 10 days on, four days off. Work will start ASAP and go to September 12, 2026.
