Steele Hotels is seeking a full-time permanent Hotel Manager to join our team at Sinbads Hotel and Suites, located in Gander, NL.

The Hotel Manager will report directly to the General Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Oversee the daily operations, ensuring sufficient management, and providing strategic direction
· Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
· Develop and manage the hotel budget, ensuring revenue targets are met and expenses are controlled
· Prepare regular reports for senior management detailing key performance indicators, financial metrics, and operational achievements
· Conduct recruiting initiatives along with department supervisors
· Ensure that the hotel facilities are well-maintained and meet quality standards
· Ensure supervisors are training staff on all procedures, policies, and requirements for their role
· Preparing inventory and month-end count and control
· Resolve customer complaints when escalated to the hotel management level
· Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
· Strong customer service skills coupled with 5 years’ experience working in a managerial role
· Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or Hotel Management an asset
· Exceptional communication and organization skills
· Experience with budgeting and reporting structures
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
· Organized with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
