Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our culinary team has the necessary tools and equipment to deliver exceptional meals to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently.
- Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stored appropriately according to health and safety standards.
- Assist with the organization and stocking of clean dishes, utensils, and other kitchen supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dishwashing area, including regular cleaning of equipment and surfaces.
- Dispose of kitchen garbage and recycling in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support efficient flow of dishware and utensils during peak service times.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients.
- Follow instructions from management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the team.
