Duties

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently and safely.
• Sort and organize clean items for proper storage or immediate use by kitchen staff or servers.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ensuring cleanliness of work areas.
• Follow strict food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain health standards in the kitchen.
• Support the culinary team by promptly providing clean dishes and utensils during busy service periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, including sinks, counters, and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and uphold hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized.
• Experience with food handling or kitchen operations is a plus; familiarity with hotel or food service environments is beneficial.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting.
