Security Site Manager - Government House

THE ROLE:

Commissionaires’ NL provides 24/7 security services to Government House. Government House is the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland & Labrador. We are currently seeking a Site Manager to manage the daily operations of the site.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Submitting payroll and scheduling
• Maintain Commissionaire’s Log Book
• Briefing and training of new Commissionaires on their duties and responsibilities
• Keeping up to date on personnel files and noting expiry dates on First Aid and Security Clearances
• PER’S – completed yearly
• Interior and exterior foot patrols
• Monitor Security Cameras
• Follow protocol
• Be available after hours to provide support to staff if needed

WHO WE’RE SEEKING

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Be aged 19 or older
• Be professional, reliable and recognize the proper chain of command
• Submit a comprehensive resume with your application
• Be required to complete First Aid at the Emergency Level (1 Day)
• Be able to communicate effectively in English
• Must have Valid Driver’s License
• Have a clear criminal record check

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

The selected candidate will be professional and detail driven individual with a strong work ethic and “can do” attitude. Both physical and mental fitness is required. This often involves working in all types of environment conditions at varying times throughout the day or night.
