The Front desk agent is a key part of the overall success of our business, they represent the first and last point of contact with guests and handle all stages of a guest’s stay. It is very important that the individual possesses a strong outgoing personality, with an ability to pay close attention to details. The successful candidate should be able to work well with others, while demonstrating an ability to work unsupervised .
Responsibilities
Greet guests in a friendly manner and follow check in procedures
Take payments and post accurately to guest accounts
Follow set hotel polices
General clerical duties and reporting
Ensure all credit cards, cash, and change fund are balanced throughout each shift
Reconcile daily cash outs and produce daily cash out report
Run and Distribute Daily reports for management team
Communicate with other departments in a friendly and professional manner
Handle guest communications in a discreet fashion
Balancing and consolidating departmental ledger accounts, preparation of various hotel operating reports.
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Previous Audit experience preferred but not required
Must be available for overnights
Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
Accounting experience preferred
Strong communication skills , attention to detail
Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, email and other computer programs
Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment
Demonstrated strong customer service skills, problem solving
Available for weekends, evenings , and holidays
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
