Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and care.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
  • Manage phone systems to respond to guest inquiries and reservations efficiently.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist in managing front desk operations, including balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts.
  • Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while communicating with guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices.
  • Proficiency in phone systems and front desk operations.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience with Property Management Systems an asset (Opera Cloud, Visual Matrix, etc.)

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $21.30 per hour

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)

  • English (required)
