We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and care.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage phone systems to respond to guest inquiries and reservations efficiently.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in managing front desk operations, including balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while communicating with guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices.
- Proficiency in phone systems and front desk operations.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with Property Management Systems an asset (Opera Cloud, Visual Matrix, etc.)
