Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires effective leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage staff while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

  • Oversee and schedule Front of House (FOH) staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Manage daily service, including coaching staff, cutting staff as needed, and maintaining high service standards.
  • Communicate upcoming changes and updates effectively to the restaurant team.
  • Coordinate with other managers and supervisors to ensure full coverage of shifts and responsibilities.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, as well as overseeing regular event scheduling.
  • Manage social media presence through daily posts and updates.
  • Monitor flatware and glassware stock levels; submit orders for replenishment as required.
  • Conduct interviews, manage hiring, and maintain updated onboarding packages for new staff.
  • Liaise with new employees and management to ensure smooth onboarding and integration into the team.
  • Complete gratuity reports, disbursements.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings, providing operational updates and performance insights.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
  • Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes.
  • Familiarity with various POS systems (Lightspeed) is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
  • Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Experience in training & development of staff members is essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Salary is TBD based on qualifications and role structure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
