We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our establishment, contributing to the overall positive experience of our guests.
Job responsibilities include:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, ensuring they meet the established standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities as needed.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in guest rooms and common areas.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and countertops.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks on a regular basis, such as carpet shampooing and furniture upholstery cleaning.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items in guest rooms to maintenance.
- Assist with laundry duties as necessary, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient and seamless operations.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as commercial or residential cleaner considered an asset.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
