Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and detail oriented individual to join our housekeeping team. As a Housekeeper at the Marble Villa, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back of house spaces within the hotel. This role is crucial in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Assist with laundry (on-site)
- Restock room supplies such as towels and toiletries.
- Report any maintenance needs or issues to the Hospitality Manager.
- Clean and maintain public areas, such as lobby, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures regarding housekeeping tasks.
- Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or services promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and manage time effectively.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Must have access to transportation.
- A satisfactory certificate of conduct from RCMP or RNC
