Job Description

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas of the guest floors are cleaned and linens are restocked, ensuring the Hotel is maintained to the high presentation.

Hours of operation; Monday through Friday; 9:00am-5:30pm / Saturday and Sunday; 10:00am-6:30pm

Job duties, responsibilities and requirements:

  • cleaning of up to 16 guest rooms to standard as assigned (beds, bathroom, vacuuming, dusting, replacing amenities)
  • performs side duties as required
  • job-related experience an asset
  • dependable and reliable, must be able to work shifts; days, weekends and holidays
  • ability to learn quickly, personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • must be in good physical condition, frequent pushing / pulling / reaching / stooping / handling and gripping is required
  • must be able to stand for extended periods of time and work in a fast paced environment
  • must possess good organization / time management skills
  • must maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment at all times
  • must provide excellent customer service courteously and promptly in the responding of guest room requests
  • guest-service oriented; team player

The guest room assignments and scheduling is based upon customer demand. There may be additional duties added at anytime due to any circumstances.

Job Types: Permanent, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $17.00-$17.50 per year
