The Lakeside at Thorburn

Welcome to The Lakeside at Thorburn, a year round resort located on beautiful Thorburn Lake, Newfoundland.

Whether you're looking for family fun, adventure, a romantic get-away, or maybe just some relaxation, The Lakeside at Thorburn will cater to you. Now under a new name, ownership and management, we are renovating, growing and developing to create a wonderful vacation experience for you.

We offer accommodations in our newly renovated 10-room motel with efficiency units and many amenities. If you prefer the outdoors, you might enjoy our beautiful semi-serviced campgrounds on the lake. For those of you who love to camp but do not have a trailer, keep an eye for our quaint bunk houses. We also offer a 12 bunk loft, providing a great option for sports teams and groups.

Enjoy a run on our go-cart track, soak in the hot tub, relax on the beach or play on the lake. Our pool, boat rentals and many games can also bring your hours of fun. Looking for winter adventure? Join us for a guided snow mobile tour, strap on some snow shoes or try your luck with some ice fishing. Sliding and ice skating are great options for the kids, and for those of you with a big kid inside.
