Wooden Boat Museum of Newfoundland and Labrador

Explore the heritage of Newfoundland and Labrador from the perspective of our traditional wooden boats. Exhibits display our history from skin-covered kayaks used by indigenous peoples to the punts that were hauled ashore with the Cod Moratorium. Our museum weaves personal experiences of our people with the broader story of fishing communities throughout the province.
