Cliffs Edge Retreat is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Server to join our team at The Forager Restaurant, where Newfoundland’s foraging culture and locally sourced ingredients take center stage. If you love sharing the story of Newfoundland’s culinary heritage with guests and providing warm, attentive service, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Take and deliver accurate food and beverage orders while sharing insights about foraged ingredients.
- Offer menu recommendations, including wine and cocktail pairings.
- Create a welcoming and engaging dining experience by showcasing Newfoundland’s foraging culture.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area while working efficiently with the team.
- Process payments quickly and accurately.
Qualifications:
- Previous serving experience preferred.
- Passion for Newfoundland’s foraging culture and locally inspired cuisine.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Smart Serve or Responsible Beverage Service certification (or willingness to obtain).
