We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced full-time seasonal Chef or Cook to join our team at Buoy & Arrow, located in Rocky Harbour, a community within Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland.

We are seeking a talented and creative Chef or Cook, with a minimum of two years’ experience to join our incredible team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cooking, a keen eye for detail and the ability to inspire and provide leadership within the kitchen. Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and present dishes in accordance with our menu and standards.
-Collaborate with management and staff to create seasonal menus and specials.
-Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food safety, and sanitation standards.
-Provide leadership to kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
-Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
-Assist in ordering and managing kitchen supplies and equipment.
-Stay updated on industry trends and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
-Proven minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
-Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and presentation styles.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
-Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
