Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices, as well as experience in meal preparation and food service. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before serving.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Location:
