As a leading destination property within Gros Morne National Park, the Ocean View Hotel is seeking a motivated and skilled Food and Beverage Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations. The F & B Manager will be responsible for supervising the kitchen and restaurant staff, ensuring the timely preparation and presentation of exceptional dining experiences for our valued guests and meeting food and beverage targets for the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising food preparation and cooking operations at the Ocean View kitchen
- Supervision and management of both kitchen staff and front-of-house operations in the Oceans Dining Room and Anchor Pub
- Keeping menus and menu systems up to date
- Managing daily special food and beverage offerings
- Managing daily motor coach and group dining requirements
- Maintaining kitchen inventory and management of cost controls
- Adhering to safety and cleanliness standards
- Ensuring consistent recipe adherence, portion sizes and presentation
- Customer service oversight
