Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will support the service staff by delivering food promptly and accurately, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry, develop strong customer service skills, and work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to food safety and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders quickly and accurately from the kitchen to tables
- Ensure dishes are presented correctly and match guest orders
- Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timing
- Assist in expediting orders during busy service periods
- Check food for quality, appearance, and completeness before serving
- Support servers with guest needs when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred (not always required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good attention to detail and organization
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to carry trays and lift up to ~25 lbs
