Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service or restaurant hospitality is preferred but not required. The Host/Hostess will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests and supporting smooth restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
- Manage waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus
- Communicate wait times clearly and accurately
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to manage table flow
- Answer basic questions about the brewery, menu, and beers
- Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and organization
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
