Iceberg Quest is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and energetic Tour Guide Check-In Agent to join our team. You will be responsible for interacting with the public in an energetic and enthusiastic way, promoting the various tours that Iceberg Quest has to offer!
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing duties.
- Greet guests upon arrival.
- Process transactions, gather and record required information.
- Manage guest inquiries
- Share local knowledge to enhance the tour experience.
- Assist with crowd control.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
- Assist with stocking, cleaning, maintenance and docking.
- Work collaboratively and positively with the crew to ensure smooth operations.
- Promote the Iceberg Quest brand across each of its properties.
Qualifications:
- Passion for the outdoors, marine life, and Newfoundland’s natural beauty.
- Previous experience in tourism or customer service is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
