Isles Wooden Boat Builders Museum & Workshop

Learn the trade of boat building in the heart of Twillingate, an outport fishing community in Central Newfoundland. Step back through time to see how wooden boats were constructed to take on the Atlantic Ocean. Then meet the local resident boat builder and take part in an interactive half day to a week long boat building workshop. Guided tours of the museum are available upon request. This new cultural display is hosted in partnership with the Wooden Boat Museum of Newfoundland and Labrador.
