What You Bring

Qualifications & Education

  • A degree in Post-Secondary Education is required with course work in curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated experience in course and program development within a post-secondary environment
  • Formal training or proven expertise in learning pedagogies, including adult learning principles

Curriculum & Instructional Design Expertise

  • Proven ability to design, write, and revise courses and programs aligned with institutional and accreditation standards
  • Strong working knowledge of learning taxonomies (e.g., Bloom’s, SOLO, affective and psychomotor domains)
  • Expertise in developing learning outcomes, objectives, assessments, and evaluation tools
  • Experience ensuring curriculum aligns with outcomes-based education and best practices and aligning learning objectives to national standards.

Technology & Online Learning

  • Exceptional IT skills with demonstrated ability to work across multiple educational technologies
  • Experience developing and teaching online and blended learning courses
  • Ability to integrate creative and innovative teaching strategies into digital learning environments
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational technology tools is an asset

What You'll Do

As a Curriculum Development Specialist at Keyin College, you will play a key role in shaping high-quality, learner-centered programs that support student success and institutional growth. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, review, and revise post-secondary courses and programs to ensure alignment with outcomes-based education principles, accreditation requirements, and national standards
  • Collaborate closely with faculty, subject-matter experts, and academic leadership to translate industry and instructional needs into effective curriculum and learning experiences
  • Develop clear, measurable learning outcomes, objectives, assessments, and evaluation tools using established learning taxonomies and adult learning principles
  • Ensure curriculum consistency, quality, and alignment across programs, delivery modes, and credential levels
  • Review and update curriculum to reflect evolving industry trends, best practices in teaching and learning, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to institutional projects and service improvements related to academic quality, program development, and student success
